TRIP ADVISOR - CASA DE CAMPO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Planning a holiday to Casa de Campo and not sure what questions to ask? No worries. We have crowdsourced the most popular questions asked about Casa de Campo on Trip Advisor so that you have answers to questions you didn't even know to ask. Here are things we believe that you should know about when planning your luxury holiday in Paradise.

How is the horseback riding at this resort? Are the horses healthy and well trained? Good for beginners? How are the trail rides and the riding lessons?

The Casa de Campo equestrian center is among the best in the Caribbean. The horses are healthy and perfectly trained. Private guides are available for individual or group trail rides on two of our cattle ranches. The expert staff is on hand for lessons in English or Western-style riding and jumping, and even grooming techniques and rodeo stunts.

There are a couple of trail rides, I would opt for the long ride, it goes up to the beach, beautiful scenery. The horse are pretty healthy. There used to be private classes on jumping also. It is worth it!

Horses are in good shape. Casa de Campo is one of the few places in the country where Polo is played, so they know how to treat and deal with horses. The trails are inland. The whole property was to beca sugar cane field, so must be inland. The beach is small, so there is no possibility to ride by the sea. Horses are for beginners too.

Do you have scuba diving?

The Casa de Campo Resort itself does not offer Scuba diving however there is one of the best Scuba Diving outfitters located inside the Casa de Campo Marina. For more information about Scuba diving in the Dominican Republic from Casa de Campo read ouR Guide to Scuba Diving in CDC .

While we are the #1 golf resort in the country, we offer so many other fun activities, for the whole family: horseback riding, polo, clay shooting, 13 tennis courts, kayaking, non-motorized water sports, zipline, buggies, historic excursions, and so much more! While it is true that Casa de Campo is a golf resort there are a ton of other activities to enjoy. We are not golf people at all and had a great time just going to the beach every day. Besides the beach there is everything from horseback riding, to skeet shooting, nice beach, beautiful pool and day trips. The resort is quite sprawling so you will need to use the golf cart they provide to get around or call for the shuttle. they are very prompt and efficient with the shuttle. We told them what time to pick us up from our villa for dinner and they were always on time and very helpful.
